Best cooking investment that I have made
I cook dinner almost every night with the Calphalon set that I bought two years ago, and the performance and quality are incredible. Throughout college I went through so many low cost sets that flaked off teflon (despite using nylon utensils in them and hand washing) and am so happy that I made the switch. Pay a little bit more to get a great cooking set that will perform well for years to come and put money into domestic manufacturing (made in Ohio!) rather than overseas.

a very good product
We ordered this set at the request of our Daughter, as a wedding gift. Since we gave the set to her, she says it is a very nice product well built with heavy glass lids and should last a long time. One thing though, most folks dont read up on the product manuals for cookware, please do on high end sets like this because they specifically say what heat ranges to cook with so not do damage the pans,and yes it is easy to trash them if abused. Though pricey, you do absolutely get what you pay for, when we get some more savings, maybe we can get a set for us, darn kids ! ( Just Kidding ). Anyway, the sale went fine and arrived as described and when the vendor said it would be here. Good product, Good Sale. Thanks.
scratches too easily.
I have owned Calphalon before and so I know how to take care of it. This set I actually got off ebay. The shipping was slow and the seller did nothing to answer any emails. This set i got a week and half ago. I used my 10 inch omelet pan, using a calphalon turner and now it has surface scratched in it. I also used the large 12 inch everyday pan with glass lid, for sausages, turning those and that now has a deep gouge in it also. Very disappointing in the quality of this expensive set I am not nearly as happy with as my first aluminum copper set.
